The pain must
subside at the end because Corinne, who is known to be quite a
talker, always begins telling stories as the syringe empties.
Here, she's telling again how the tumor disappeared after the
first session of chemotherapy.
After the
sixth chemo session, Corinne was given a few weeks to rest and
recuperate. Christmas was coming. This had all started in July
with the surgical biopsy. Twelve months before this, we were newlyweds,
each looking toward a fresh new life. We were not expecting a
nightmare that seemed to be interminable. But, as Monty Python
said, "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition."
