Like a First Class International Flight. Not!


While the big recliners are comfortable and you're surrounded by people on the same trip and you are stuck in the same seat all day, this is no luxury trip across the ocean.
There is no greater reminder of the disease than sitting in a roomful of people with cancer who are all being poisoned intravenously. No matter how bright and clean the room, no matter how fine the art on the wall, no matter how cheerful the nurses, it's clear to everyone what's going on here. And, for us, the treatments were all day long, every three weeks: just enough break in between to almost recover from the last treatment.
